Back to Intake & Intercooler Upper intercooler pipes require a blow off valve flange, so please make sure you select the correct options when buying your kit. Not all intercooler piping is compatible between manufacturers. 2.5" piping is the standard, upgrade replacement sizing. 3" is used mainly for racing. Aluminum pipes are lightweight but can be bent if clamps are overtightened, stainless is pretty heavy, but does offer more durability over aluminum. Titanium piping is strong AND lightweight, but certainly not cheap! |
