ACT Mod Twin Disc 225 clutch kits for Evo 4/5/6/7/8/9 manual transmission 5 and 6 speed models. These kits include everything from the pressure plate to flywheel featuring the ACT Monoloc collar. These kits include a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, choice of friction plates, rigid Mono-Drive hub, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing and alignment tool. Mod-Twin clutches are fully rebuildable and most components can be ordered separately.

ACT HD (2100) Heavy Duty Pressure Plate:
• Great street kit with reasonable pedal pressure and used by those in the 12 second/300 hp range
• Torque capacity over stock 97-152%
• Pedal feels stock to moderate

ACT XT (2600) Extreme Duty Pressure Plate:
• Perfect for the 11 second range
• Torque capacity over stock 146-214%
• Pedal feels moderate to stiff

ACT XX (2900) MAXX Extreme Duty Pressure Plate:
• Race ONLY, not recommended for daily street use
• Torque capacity over stock 275%
• Pedal feels stiff to very stiff

The ACT Monoloc:
Provides uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate to assure proper alignment. (This is the piece that helps to stop "popping the clip.")

Evo 5, amazing!

I can not get over how much I love this clutch and how light weight the pedal is. Too many twin disk clutches feel heavy or rattle on idle. This clutch is just amazing, ACT has won a customer for life.

Perhaps the evo's only weakness is its clutch. I wanted to end this once and for all. The traditional twin plates sound in neutral like a ice in a blender, and I hate that sound. Single kits usually have to have a tough pressure plate to withstand high power, if not they'll slip quickly. ACT twin-mod pretty much eliminates ALL that. The mono hub with springs is nice, no chatter and absolutely no noise! The pressure plate is soft to the pedal enough for a daily-driver but also takes the heat in trackday-driving. We often refer to this clutch as soft as a Toyota Yaris clutch! And to top it off, it is REBUILDABLE! Yes! No more throwing away a kit. Get your replacement discs, spacers, or pretty much anything you screw up quickly and affordably from ACT. Just keep loving this clutch in my daily-driver Evo V!
