STM McLaren Crank Wrench (STM-MCL-CW)

The STM McLaren Crank Wrench was developed in a pinch. While installing an aftermarket crank bolt on a 570S we needed something other than the factory crank lock key to hold the crank steady while bringing the torque to 400 FT LBS. This was our answer, and now you can have one in your tool box too!

We recommend starting with the factory crank lock key and running the torque on your aftermarket main bolt to 165 FT LBS. Then, remove it and use the STM Crank Wrench to hold the crank steady to achieve your desired spec. Afterword put the pin back in to check that everything is still aligned and good to go.
