The STM FIAV (Fast Idle Air Valve) bypass plate is cut from 1/8" aluminum and when sandwiched in the lower half of the throttle body, this blocks the unwanted FIAV passages, allowing you to retain a factory appearance and keep your ISC functional. Fits 1991+ 1G/2G DSM and all 3000GT and Stealth models.

Works for same era V6 MONTERO

This block off plate is dialed. Installed with some blue rtv. My idle is back down to 750rpm WHERE IT SHOULD BE. Wow that is awesome. Now i dont have to shift into drive at 2k rpm and skirp the tires.
