Single 3" to Triple 2.5" Design:
The Track Edition exhaust features a 3" mid-pipe inlet designed to support future modifications without impacting upstream components. Its stamped stainless steel merge transitions smoothly from a single 3" pipe to triple 2.5" outlets, ensuring optimal flow through each tip. Bespoke straight-through bullet-style resonators at the rear deliver an aggressive tone while managing rasp.
Tailored Tips:
The system is equipped with a custom 4.5" x 8" oval, double-walled, slash-cut tip in the center, flanked by two 5” double-walled, slash-cut tips in diamond black. These are some of the best aftermarket tips available for the GRC.
Conversion Kits:
AWE offers easy conversion between the Track and Touring Editions, allowing you to adjust the interior sound as needed. Both options are aggressive, but the key difference is in how each handles the intense frequencies produced by the 1.6L engine at highway speeds.
Nope, The Exhaust is Not Valved:
AWE's R&D revealed that the factory valve operates automatically based on throttle input, opening at low revs to manage backpressure. Since it cannot be manually controlled from the cabin, it was deemed unnecessary in AWE's design. The system prioritizes flow to the center outlet and directs flow to the side exits during light throttle. With AWE’s design naturally addressing backpressure, the valve was excluded, though the kit includes a valve motor mount for secure relocation.
