Clutch Masters FX100-FX500 single disc clutch kits for 1993-1998 2JZ Toyota Supra with V160 6-speed transmission. The discs are different for each kit and are recommended below for use with daily driving, high power street cars, drag racing or road racing.
Vehicle Fitment:
1993-1998 Toyota Supra
2JZ V160 Trans Turbo 6-Speed
Purchase Includes:
(1) Pressure Plate
(1) Clutch Disc
(1) Clutch Alignment Tool
(1) Throw Out Bearing
(1) Pilot Bearing
Flywheel Notes:
Flywheels are sold separately. We recommend these Clutch Masters flywheels. You'll need the "OEM Style" flywheel for the FX Series single disc clutch kits. Available in aluminum or steel.
• Clutch Masters FW-170-AL or FW-170-SF
What's the difference between SMF and DMF?
SMF stands for single mass flywheel, DMF is dual mass flywheel. The OEM flywheel is a DMF designed to help reduce vibration and noise. There's a lot of arguments for and against SMF vs DMF, so please do all your own research and choose what's right for your build.
The -D part numbers on the sprung (aka dampened) discs can only be used with an aftermarket SMF. They will not work with a dual mass flywheel such as LUK or OEM. You can use the rigid discs with a SMF, but "it's going to get real noisy."

FX100 | 16000-HD00-D Must use SMF | Sprung Disc |
16000-HD00-R | Rigid Disc
• For daily driving and spirited street use • Steel-Backed Organic Lined Disc Slightly increased pedal pressure, longer life than stock and normal clutch feel during engagement and disengagement for a very smooth operation. Suitable for mild bolt-on mods. |
||
FX250 | 16000-HD0F-D Must use SMF | Sprung Disc |
16000-HD0F-R | Rigid Disc
• For Spirited street use and the weekend racer • Dual Friction Organic/Fiber Tough Disc The FX250 has a higher holding capacity than a traditional full-faced kevlar without compromising street-ability. The disc is a hybrid combination of Clutch Masters new formula button on one side and a heavy duty steel back organic friction lining on the other. |

FX350 | 16000-HDFF-D Must use SMF | Sprung Disc |
16000-HDFF-R | Rigid Disc
• For spirited street use and the weekend drag racer • Fiber Friction Lined Disc The FX350 has a higher holding capacity than a segmented kevlar lining without compromising street-ability. For years, racers have had to compromise durability for drivability and vise versa, however the new Clutch Masters Formula Button has closed the gap! |

FX400 | 16000-HDC6-D (6-Puck) Must use SMF | Sprung Disc |
16000-HDCL-D (8-Puck) Must use SMF | Sprung Disc
• For spirited street use, drag racing and road racing • Ceramic Lined 6-Puck or 8-Puck Disc The FX400 System uses a custom, extremely durable, ceramic-lined 6-puck or 8-puck disc. This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street-able than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation. Warning: Due to the solid friction rivet design, the FX400 disc engages very quickly and may chatter slightly in first and reverse. To help alleviate this problem, only premium ceramic friction material is used. |

FX500 | 16000-HDB6-R (6-Puck) | Rigid Disc |
16000-HDBL-R (8-Puck) | Rigid Disc
• Best option for drag racing • Not recommended for street use • 6 or 8 Puck Rigid Ceramic Disc The FX500 System uses a rigid ceramic disc. It is designed for maximum holding capacity with no compromises. Warning: Race Only! The FX500 is a solid hub rigid disc that engages and disengages instantly. This is a RACE ONLY clutch and not recommended for street use. If you are looking for a clutch to handle both power and drive-ability, you'll want to look into the Clutch Masters 850 Twin/Triple or FX1000 multi-plate clutch kits. |
