The VIS Extreme GT style carbon fiber hood for 2G DSM features two functional heat vents giving your 2G a subtle, yet aggressive look. All VIS hoods require hood pins. Ships to the lower 48 United States only, excludes Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Freight shipping is included into the price.

VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods are made from the finest carbon fiber available. Each VIS hood is protected with a UV coating, that will allow the hood to hold its high gloss finish. All VIS carbon fiber hoods are Grade A and above. VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods have a tight carbon weave, rolled edges, and one piece under-siding.

VIS grade "A" carbon fiber hoods are the best in the industry. Each hood is built with a strong carbon fiber skeleton. The outer layer is hand-laid with carbon fiber along with several layers of clear coating that provides a Hi-gloss show-quality finish.

The underside of each OEM style hood is reinforced fiberglass with a one-piece fiberglass covering the underling skeleton to provide a clean factory look.

Install Notes:
Hood pins are required. Intended for OFF ROAD use only.

Ordered this hood August 21st 2024 as of today January 23rd 2025 I still have not received the hood as of January 16th 2025 I did finally receive tracking details but unfortunately the shipping company that VIS went with isn't like UPS or FedEx they only come to the area once in awhile and when they have enough things that are coming to the area. So now I am currently waiting for the shipping company to decide a time that they can deliver the hood. STM Tuned customer service has been a lot of help with this huge ordeal and even gave me $125 credit for this hassle so I have no complaints at all with them they have been great and have tried doing everything possible to help and make this process easier, but I personally would never buy another product from the manufacturer VIS ever again. They have yet to reach out not even once and they haven't offered credit or partial refund or not even a hey we are sorry about the delay. It says usually ships in 2-6 weeks but we are on week 22 with no hood. Ordered in August to hopefully have by October 29th for my husbands birthday and it unfortunately did not happen.

Haven’t received item

Ordered carbon fiber hood about 2 months ago still haven’t received it I know it takes awhile for item to be made and shipped out but haven’t received the best customer service when reaching out to see when the item will be shipped.
