Description:
TBM designs their calipers around common brake pad shapes which means that, although these are named by the TBM caliper they fit, they will also fit many other racing brake calipers. For instance, these F1 pads are the standard "LD19" pad shape, they fit the TBM F1 and DR-1, as well as many other (non TBM) calipers.

With rare exceptions, a brake pad with a linear coefficient of Friction (CoF) is better. A "linear" pad keeps the brake bias balanced front to rear regardless of temperature variation. Most TBM pads feature advanced "linear" compounds in a variety of pad shapes to fit both TBM and competitive calipers.

TBM #1

Maximum temperature 500°F, .60 CoF.
Designed for rapid yet smooth application.
Typical Use: Drag Racing

TBM #3

Maximum temperature 1200°F, .48 CoF.
Smooth, linear “feel” on high traction surfaces. Improved stability and control in vehicles with high rear brake torque. Industry leading rotor wear rate.
Typical Use: Off-Road, Dirt Track, Aluminum Rotors

TBM #4

Maximum temperature 1300°F, .50 CoF.
Endurance compound for long-duration, high temperature motorsports. Stable, consistent friction with outstanding wear rate.
Typical Use: Off-Road, Endurance Asphalt, Road Racing

TBM #82

Maximum temperature 500°F, .44 CoF.
Very-low dust, noiseless, ceramic brake pads for street cars under normal driving conditions.
Typical Use: Performance Street

TBM #84

Maximum temperature 1400°F, .56 CoF.
High initial bite with rising friction as temperature increases. Excellent high temperature wear rate. Moderate rotor wear.
Typical Use: Asphalt Oval, Road Racing, Monster Truck, Dirt Track

TBM #85

Maximum temperature 1500°F, .58 CoF.
Extremely high initial bite with high, stable friction across temperature range. Improved pad and rotor wear rate over #84, the most rotor friendly “high-torque” brake pad.
Typical Use: Asphalt Oval, Road Racing, Drag Racing
