I purchased this kit from STM to do the 60k service on my Evo 8. I decided to go with the Gates Racing belts as I heard they're a little stronger than the OEM ones, in particular with the balance shaft belt. I'm glad I did. These belts are very robust and feel very high quality. The Gates water pump is also very high quality, however, do yourself a favor and just pick up the OEM pump gasket as the one the comes with the Gates pump feels pretty cheap. I read that a lot of people on the forums reported whining or squealing from these belts after installation, but they probably did something wrong. This was my first time installing a timing belt on a 4G63; I followed the instructions in the factory service manual and I have 0 issues or noises. Very pleased with my purchase.
Havent installed yet but everything is there and was shipped in a decent manner of time for being so far away. Would buy again, no question.
