SPL FLCA Replacement Stud Kit for Supra GR F8X G8X (SRK G29)

The SPL stud replacement kit is available for the FLCA Supra GR, F80/G80 front lower control arms per SPL Service Bulletin 23-01

This upgraded kit includes manganese phosphate coated hardened chromoly steel shank studs, 304 stainless steel adjustment spacers in 1/8" heights, 304 stainless steel adapter spacer bushings, and plated Nylock nuts. This new design allows for roll center correction to be adjusted without removing the stud from the knuckle, an improvement from the previously used socket head cap screws.

SPL has received inquiries regarding bending and failures of cap bolts used in SPL front lower control arms. Information supplied to SPL indicates inadequate or un-retained torque of retaining nut/bolt to lower control arm may be contributing to bending and fatigue of grade-8 fasteners.
