Full Description:
The 20-0116 Radium Evo 8/9 Catch Can Kit installs next to the RH strut tower and plumbs in-line between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. This kit maintains the OEM closed system operation of the PCV valve while keeping oil and other contaminants from entering the intake manifold. Because the Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, they are safe for boosted applications, so connecting to the intake manifold is permitted without a check valve.

This catch can does NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), thus is emissions and track legal. Closed loop systems route clean filtered air back in through the engine to be burned and to promote negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors into the cabin.

An oil catch can is essential on a performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated from aggressive driving. Excess oil-saturated air circulating back into the air intake stream can lead to degraded performance.
