This Radium Evo 8/9 Catch Can Kit will mount to your LH (USDM driver side) strut tower and plumbs in-line with the crankcase vent hose that connects from the port on the valve cover to the turbo air intake pipe. Compatible with the OEM strut bar. This catch can does NOT vent to atmosphere and is emissions and track legal, but may be modified to vent to atmosphere with a breather filter.

Full Description:
The 20-0117 Radium Evo 8/9 Catch Can Kit installs next to the LH strut tower and plumbs in-line with the crankcase vent hose. This is the hose that connects from the port on the valve cover to the turbo air intake pipe. The catch can will help keep oil out of the intercooler and associated piping. This kit as-is does not vent to atmosphere, thus is emissions and track legal.
An oil catch can is essential on a performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated from aggressive driving. Excess oil-saturated air circulating back into the air intake stream can lead to degraded performance.
Vent to Atmosphere Option:
-10AN Breather Filter
(Sold Separately)
This catch can may be vented to atmosphere, if desired, by purchasing an air filter vent fitting. However, certain battery configurations may not permit the fitment of the air filter vent directly on the catch can side port.
Venting to atmosphere does not recirculate crankcase gasses back through the engine and is intended for race vehicles dealing with a large amount of blow-by gasses.
