Surface rust already?!

Bought this because my current tank has rust in it and you can't reach it with the internal baffles in the way. I get this new one and first thing I see is surface rust inside the baffle tube. Really Mitsubishi? Really... I'm glad it's just surface rust that can be wiped off but it doesn't give me any confidence since E85 likes to absorb water.
