Starting at the turbo, we’ve replaced the stock plastic charge pipe with mandrel-bent, CNC-machined aluminum. The smoother bends and transitions improve airflow by 20% compared to stock. The integrated turbo quick disconnect minimizes failure points, eliminating concerns about hard-to-reach couplers popping off during a pull. Plus, the all-aluminum construction withstands higher boost pressures far better than the stock plastic pipe.

The centerpiece of this kit is our significantly upgraded top-mount intercooler and shroud. We’ve completely overhauled the plastic end tank intercooler, swapping it out for cast-aluminum end tanks and a high-flow core that’s 88% larger than the original. This larger core allows for over 40% better airflow, easing the burden on your turbo and enabling it to push more cool air into the engine. We’ve also increased the fin surface area by 76%, allowing for more effective heat transfer and keeping outlet temperatures within 10 degrees of ambient. To ensure optimal airflow over the intercooler, we’ve scaled up the shroud, fully exposing the core to fresh air from the WRX’s iconic hood scoop.
