KYB AGX on '04 WRX wagon

I had these KYB AGX struts installed on my '04 WRX wagon daily driver, along with Swift wagon springs, STI/Group N top mounts, W/L roll center correction, W/L anti-lift (comfort), W/L steering rack bushings, and W/L Fr & Rr sway bars w/Kartboy end-links. (The alignment shop got to factory settings with the original camber bolts up front, and new ones in the rear.)

I had read retailer copy, customer reviews, magazine articles, and numerous online forums for a long time before taking the leap. It was a huge expense, and I still was unsure what the end result would be.

Well, I wish I had done this years ago! Mine is not a track car, but I wanted something more responsive than the very worn out stock suspension. I got it. The car sits a bit lower, but not slammed; it turns in now, not after a while, and seems to really bite into corners; and body pitch and roll are reduced. The ride IS firmer, but even on Wisconsin's rotten roads, for the most part is quite tolerable. Gone is the rolly-polly squishiness, slop, and casual feel of the original. Now, it's fully awake and ready to play- right now.

My KYB's are all set to #2, and the front sway bar is on soft, the rear is on medium. I realize that I made numerous alterations at once, so it's about impossible to judge what difference one component change made. Still, I had been worried that I would have an unstreetable car, one that my wife hated. But she likes it! And so do I. Thank you STM- good price, fast service.
