JMF Race Bumper Support for 1G DSM
The 1G DSM JMF Race Bumper Support is for race cars that have removed the front crash beam and need to support the front bumper. This is not for street cars. Weighs 2 pounds and fits 1990-1994 Eclipse, Talon and Laser turbo models.

If you own a 1G DSM and want to install a front mount intercooler you know how hard it is to cut out the OEM bumper. You could always just remove it, but then your bumper cover is left with no support flapping in the wind. The JMF Race Bumper is the solution!
Weighing in at only 2 pounds (vs the stock 35 pound bumper) it is waterjet cut from 6061 aluminum. The support itself is made from 1/4" thick material and features threaded holes for the OEM bolts to go right back in place. The brackets are made from 1/8" thick material and help support the weight of the bumper cover. It will fit cores up to 33" wide and 4" thick, larger cores may fit with minor trimming of the brackets. No more zip ties holding your front end together!
NOT FOR STREET USE!

When this was first released I didn't ever see it as something I would want. Having worked on a friends car with one I saw how nice it was and had to have it on my own car. Beautiful and functional piece. If you have a decent sized FMIC I highly recommend it!
