Description:
Expansion nuts, or well nuts, consist of a flanged neoprene bushing with a threaded nut embedded in the non-flanged end. As the bolt is screwed into the nut, the rubber on the other side of the hole expands and seals the bolt hole.

• Used to seal bolt holes to prevent leaking

Good product difficult to find

I originally discovered these at Home Depot for hanging items in our RV. I could not find all I needed and finally found them here at STM. Only small disappointment was the delay in shipping. They did arrive and I now should have enough to complete future projects as well.
