Why Choose A VTA Over A “BOV Spacer”?
Whilst “BOV spacers” might offer a cheap way to get a blow-off sound, they fail to tackle the fundamental performance and reliability issues associated with the OEM diverter valve – all they do is redirect the vented air.
The VTA offers more than just sound. By replacing the OEM diverter valve you also get enhanced performance and reliability.
Reliable Boost Holding
While OEM diverter valves have seen some improvements in reliability, performance compromises still exist. The molded plastic mechanism of the OEM valve struggles to consistently seal boost pressure. In contrast, the VTA uses CNC-machined aluminum and brass components, along with a Viton face seal, to ensure reliable boost holding, even up to 50 psi.
Sharper Throttle Response, Faster Boost Recovery
OEM electronic diverter valves operate in a binary fashion—they’re either fully open or fully closed. However, your throttle isn’t. This mismatch leads to abrupt changes in power delivery during small throttle adjustments, resulting in poor throttle response. GFB’s patented “pilot actuation” system allows the VTA’s piston to open and close progressively, smoothing power delivery and enhancing throttle response during modulation.
Unrivaled Longevity, Backed by Our Lifetime Warranty
With precision manufacturing, careful attention to detail, and durable materials, the VTA is built to last a lifetime—and so is its warranty.
