COBB Adjustable Short Throw Shifter for 5-Speed WRX
The COBB adjustable short-throw shifters reduce your shifter throw and allows you to adjust the throw distance and shift knob height once installed. There are a few different options for the 5-speed WRX models, please review your selections carefully before purchase.
2002-2007 WRX Fitment Notes:
If your factory shifter has a gold zinc plated lever, it is a narrow barrel style and you should use 211315. If it is dark gray, then it is the factory wide barrel style and you should use 212315.
Wide Barrel vs Narrow Barrel:
If your shifter fork width is 1.155", you will need the Narrow Barrel Shifter.
If your shifter fork width is 1.435", you will need the Wide Barrel Shifter, or the TALL Wide Barrel Shifter.
212317 Tall Shifter:
The tall shifter stands about 2" higher than the normal Double Adjustable Shifter. This shifter has a "wide barrel" and is for use in cars that did not come with the Subaru factory short-shifter option.
212315 Wide Barrel:
This shifter has a "wide barrel" and is for use in cars that did not come with the Subaru factory short-shifter option.
211315 Narrow Barrel:
This shifter has a "narrow barrel" and is for use in cars that came with the Subaru factory short-shifter option.
