FX100 70% Increased Holding Capacity 16616-HD00
• For daily driving and spirited street use
• Steel-Backed Organic Friction Material

This clutch is designed for street-driven vehicles with minor bolt-ons, such as an exhaust or intake system, providing extended wear and additional clamping force for up to 50hp gains. It offers slightly increased pedal pressure compared to stock, while maintaining a smooth, factory-like feel during engagement and disengagement, ensuring longer life and reliable performance.
FX250 110% Increased Holding Capacity 16616-HD0F
• For Spirited street use and the weekend racer
• Heavy-Duty Hybrid Disc with Fiber Tough Material on Pressure Plate side and Steel Backed Organic Friction Material on the Flywheel Side

The FX250 clutch is ideal for street enthusiasts or weekend racers with aggressive driving styles. It offers increased holding capacity compared to traditional full-faced Kevlar clutches, while maintaining the street-friendly characteristics found in the FX100 and FX200 series.
FX350 110% Increase in Holding Capacity - STREET/RACE 16616-HDFF
• For spirited street use and the weekend drag racer
• Heavy-Duty Segmented Fiber-Tough Disc

The FX350 has a higher holding capacity than a segmented kevlar lining without compromising street-ability. The Fiber-Tough material used in this clutch bridges the gap between durability and drivability, reducing the need to compromise between the two.
FX400 170% Increase in Holding Capacity - RACE/STREET 16616-HDC6 (6-Puck)
170% Increase in Holding Capacity - RACE/STREET 16616-HDCL (8-Puck)
• For spirited street use, drag racing and road racing
• Ceramic Lined 6-Puck or 8-Puck Disc

This extreme-duty street and racing clutch system is available in both 6-puck and 8-puck ceramic configurations, with the 6-puck offering a more aggressive setup and the 8-puck being slightly less aggressive. Its sprung hub design provides moderate dampening for high-torque applications, making it more street-friendly than rigid designs, while offering long life, excellent holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.
FX500 200-400% Increased Holding Capacity - **RACE ONLY** 16616-HDB6 (6-Puck)
• Best option for drag racing
• Not recommended for street use
• 6 or 8 Puck Rigid Ceramic Disc

The FX500 System features a Power Plus II Pressure Plate with a solid, unsprung 6 or 8-puck ceramic button disc or a Sintered Iron Disc, providing exceptional holding capacity and rapid heat dissipation. Its quick engagement and clutch chatter make it unsuitable for street use. Custom FX500 systems with Sintered Iron friction material are specifically designed for extreme drag race conditions and can be tailored to individual applications.
Warning: The FX500 is a Solid Hub (rigid) disc that engages and disengages instantly. This is a Race Only clutch.

What is the Difference Between a 6-Puck and 8-Puck?
The key difference between the 6-puck and 8-puck designs lies in their engagement characteristics and suitability for street use. The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) features a full-face ceramic disc with a marcel cushion between the linings, allowing for quick engagement while minimizing chatter, making it more suitable for street-driven vehicles. In contrast, the FX400/HDC6 (6-puck) uses a ceramic paddle design without a marcel cushion, resulting in faster and more aggressive engagement, but with noticeable clutch chatter, especially in first and reverse. While the 6-puck may not be ideal for street use due to this aggressive behavior, it uses premium ceramic materials to mitigate some of the chatter.

Warning: Due to the solid friction rivet design, the FX400 disc engages very quickly and may chatter slightly in first and reverse. To help alleviate this problem, only premium ceramic friction material is used.

Notes:

  • Organic/ Kevlar/ Fiber-Tough Clutch kits are expected and tend to have a higher life expectancy than OEM, however not guaranteed.
