The Clutch Masters FX725 is a high-performance 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch designed for engines and transmissions with smaller bell-housings, primarily for drag racing. Developed over decades of racing experience, the FX725 is engineered to handle immense horsepower and torque while providing manageable pedal pressure for track use. Though not ideal for street driving due to its minimal rotational mass, improvements in friction material allow for occasional street use. The cover assembly, made from billet aluminum and Type 3 hard anodized, provides 25% more tensile strength than competitors, reducing flex and improving overall clutch consistency and control.

The FX725, along with the FX850 Multi-Disc Kits, features Clutch Masters' unique QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate), which incorporates spring-loaded bolts for smoother, quieter clutch operation by reducing internal noise and chatter by up to 50%. This system allows for balanced engagement and disengagement, providing both high-performance and daily driving comfort.
