The Buschur Racing Quick Release Harness Bar for Evo 7/8/9 is perfect for those who drive their Evo on the street and track allowing you to easily remove the rear bar for passengers and allows use of the stock seat belts when you're not racing. Finished with a wrinkle black powdercoat and includes installation hardware.

Have you always liked the look and idea behind the harness bars but never liked the idea of your rear seat passengers losing a tooth or breaking their nose in the event of an unfortunate accident? We're with you! The new Buschur Racing Quick Release Harness bar for Evolution 7, 8 & 9 eliminates those worries.

The bars are made so that after installation they can be removed quickly and easily without any tools. This allows you to install it for your track days, autocross events or a day at the drag strip and will allow you to quickly remove it when you're carrying passengers.

The bars are built completely from mandrel bent chromoly tubing and are beautifully TIG welded. The quality is superior to other bars found on the market today. This bar as been made so the factory seat belts remain in the car and fully functional but, also with the option to run other aftermarket belt kits.

If you are using and aftermarket belt kit, it is recommended to use one that offers quick release ends on the shoulder harnesses and can be quickly disconnected and taken out with the harness bar. Using a wrap around harness will slow the removal process down. The lap belt remains and can be used or simply laid down next to the seat.

Comparing the Buschur bar to the other big name harness bars, the Buschur Racing bar comes in at 11.2 pounds to their 13.2 pounds. The 11.2 pounds includes powder coating, shoulder belt tabs and all fasteners/bolts AND eye bolts for shoulder harnesses. If you choose to use a wrap around shoulder harness the bar is 3 pounds lighter coming in at 10.2 pounds.

The kit includes the bar, powder coating (raw finish is available if you are doing a custom coating or paint job), quick release pins, shoulder belt tabs (non tabs setup available for people using wrap around style belts) and all hardware needed for installation.
