The 4.45L BC stroker kit for the Nissan VR38DETT engine features a 94.4mm stroke EN30B steel billet crankshaft. Depending on your chosen bore size, the BC kit can expand your engine to 4.45L with a safe 100mm bore. The VR38 kit includes premium steel billet I-Beam connecting rods. Each BC kit also comes with custom CP or JE pistons, wrist pins, and a full ring pack, delivering significant horsepower and torque gains.

About BC Crankshafts:
BC VR38DETT crankshafts are crafted from the finest aerospace-grade EN30B steel billet material. They are CNC machined on state-of-the-art 5-axis Mazak Integrex 300-IV CNC machines to exacting tolerances of .0001". Each crankshaft features large radius journals that enhance rigidity for high horsepower, high boost, and high RPM applications. The gun-drilled, CNC ground oil holes have smooth surfaces for superior oiling, are tear-dropped for improved oil scoop, cross-drilled for priority main feeding to the rods, and micro-polished to a mirror finish for optimal bearing lubricity. All cranks undergo stress relief, shot peening, magnaflux inspection, and nitriding for ultimate performance. Fully profiled counterweights are designed to reduce windage through the crankcase, minimizing oil resistance for improved RPM potential.

About BC Connecting Rods:
BC connecting rods are CNC machined from aerospace-grade 4340 steel billet, available in either the European-influenced H-beam or the traditional I-beam design (depending on application). All rods feature a deep, double-ribbed cap that ensures the big end housing bore remains true at extended RPMs, providing uniform bearing crush for proper clearances, superior oil supply, and maximum load-carrying capacity. H-beam rods include a deep radial groove pin bushing and oil holes at 5 and 7 o'clock, bringing crucial lubrication to the wrist pin area. I-beam rods feature an oil hole at the 12 o'clock position to keep the pin end bore true under high boost. They are available with ARP2000 fasteners (rated to 210,000 psi) or ARP's Custom Age 625+ fasteners (rated to 280,000 psi).

Piston Options:
Choose from the top piston brands available, CP or JE, in any desired bore size and compression ratio. Both brands make their custom BC stroker pistons from 2618 T6 high-tensile strength forged aluminum. These forgings are computer-designed for strength and minimal weight. Each piston diameter is CNC machined to ensure optimal accuracy and superior grain flow in the forging process. 3D modeling software and rigorous Finite Element Analysis ensure that your pistons are manufactured to be the strongest and lightest parts possible for your application. Custom pistons feature tighter clearances, less noise, better ring seal, and overall enhanced durability. Standard features include pin fit, carbon steel wrist pins, and spiral locks or rail supports, depending on the application. Additional features include upgraded 9310 alloy wrist pins for reduced flex, lateral gas ports to improve ring seal, skirt and top coatings, and a lightweight design.
