BC Brian Crower 94mm 2.2L Stroker Kit for 7 Bolt 4G63 Evo/DSM (BC0127)
This 2.2L BC stroker kit for the Mitsubishi 4G63 engine platform incorporates a 4340 billet 94mm stroke, 7 bolt crank. The 4G63 kit utilizes premium steel billet connecting rods. As usual, each BC kit features custom CP pistons (choice of bore/compression), highest quality, steel alloy wrist pins, full ring pack and buttons. I-Beam rods w/ARP2000 are standard length and rated up to 1000 maximum horsepower.

BC Crankshafts:
BC crankshafts are crafted from premium aerospace-grade 4340 steel billet. They are CNC machined on advanced 5-axis Mazak Integrex 300-IV machines to precise tolerances of .0001". Each crankshaft features large radius journals for added rigidity, suitable for high horsepower, high boost, and high rpm applications. The gun-drilled, CNC-ground oil holes have smooth surfaces for enhanced oiling, are tear-dropped for added oil scoop, cross-drilled for priority main feeding to the rods, and micro-polished to a mirror finish for optimal bearing lubrication. All cranks undergo stress relief, shot peening, magna flux inspection, and nitriding (multi-step heat treatment) for superior performance. Fully profiled counterweights reduce windage through the crankcase, decreasing oil resistance and improving rpm potential.
BC Connecting Rods:
BC connecting rods are precision CNC machined from aerospace-grade 4340 steel billet. They offer a choice between the European-influenced H-beam or the traditional I-beam design, depending on the application. Each rod boasts a deep, double-ribbed cap to maintain the big end housing bore's integrity at high RPM, ensuring uniform bearing crush for optimal clearances, superior oil supply, and maximum load capacity. H-beam rods feature a deep radial groove pin bushing and strategically placed oil holes for critical lubrication to the wrist pin area. I-beam rods include an oil hole at the 12 o'clock position to maintain pin end bore integrity under high boost. Customers can choose between ARP2000 fasteners (rated to 210,000 psi) or the top-of-the-line ARP Custom Age 625+ fasteners (rated to 280,000 psi).
BC Pistons:
Opt for premium piston brands like CP or JE, available in various bore sizes and compression ratios. Crafted from 2618 T6 forged aluminum, both brands deliver custom BC stroker pistons engineered for strength and lightness. Precision CNC machining ensures accuracy and optimal grain flow, while advanced software and analysis guarantee robustness and lightweight construction. These pistons boast tighter clearances, reduced noise, enhanced ring seal, and overall durability. Standard features include carbon steel wrist pins and secure locking mechanisms, with optional upgrades like 9310 alloy wrist pins, gas ports for improved ring seal, specialized coatings, and lightweight designs.
