This intercooler leverages a massive 6-inch Garrett core, providing 350% more cooling volume than stock to ensure safe, efficient power delivery under high-performance conditions. The vertical flow design optimizes cooling, with its 22.2” x 14” core boasting a high-density fin structure for maximum heat dissipation and power potential, ideal for drivers in hot climates or pushing their GT-R to its limits.
AMS has engineered precision billet end tanks for the Race X Intercooler, designed with advanced CAD software to ensure smooth airflow and maximum power gains. Unlike the boxy end tanks of many competitors, the Race X’s end tanks feature custom 3-inch CNC inlet and outlet ports, creating a smooth transition from intake to core. The intercooler kit includes computer-designed silicone couplers, ensuring a secure fit and enhanced airflow, which provides the power boost without compromising response.
