Superior protection from searing exhaust heat. ONYX Flexible Heat Shields outperform traditional carbon fiber or stainless steel shields. Two durable materials are combined to form a dual-layer design. The outer layer is a heat-treated glass fiber, bonded with molten aluminum and made into a tight weave for strength and durability. The inside material is a special high-temp fabric (89% silica) designed to withstand serious exhaust heat up to 1350°F! The outer edge is finished with a surge stitch for durability and it mounts with stainless steel hardware. ONYX heat shield's proprietary technology combined with a rugged stand-off bracket maximizes cooling and heat dissipation.
