The OEM Coolant Overflow Tank for the 2008-2014 WRX/STI does its job well enough but the cheap plastic material is ugly and will potentially crack over time, especially when driving hard and going through extreme heat cycles. Its shape is also clumsy and obtrusive when adding an aftermarket FMIC.
The upgraded COBB Subaru Coolant Overflow Tank solves these problems without any sacrifices. Constructed of welded aluminum with a capacity of .8L, similar to the OEM tank, along with internal and external anodizing.
