Fluidampr Harmonic Balancer Crank Pulley for Evo X (570701)
Fluidampr harmonic balancer crankshaft pulley for the 4B11 Evo X models. This balancer helps to reduce destructive crankshaft torsional vibration lessening the wear on critical internal engine components.

STM participated in the testing and results for this product release with our 2014 Evo X!
Tested and delivered up to 70% overall greater crankshaft torsional vibration control above the OE tuned elastomer style harmonic balancer on a near stock engine. Simultaneous testing indicated that the improved efficiency yielded average gains of 2 wheel-horsepower and 2lb-ft torque on a chassis dyno. Larger horsepower and torque increases due to adding a Fluidampr are expected as additional performance modifications are added.
The new Fluidampr performance damper was developed under the ISO 9001:2008 Design and Development certified standards set by parent company, Vibratech TVD, a torsional vibration solutions provider to OEM powertrain manufacturers.

Normal stock dampers wear out and engine performance upgrades increase naturally occurring harmful crankshaft torsional vibrations.
