FA510 Gen 6 Coilovers have been a success in the World Challenge, One Lap, & Global Time Attack. Available for the Subaru WRX, STi, BRZ, FRS and Toyota 86 models. These coilovers are for track and racing use. These will be built with the suggested spring rates listed below. If you'd like custom spring rates, please leave us a message when purchasing. Available with the standard FA Springs or upgrade to the Swift Springs. Radial Bearings are included when applicable.

Fortune Auto is proud to release the all new Generation 6 510 series dampers. The advanced suspension technology found in these new dampers is derived from recent success in World Challenge, One Lap, & Global Time Attack. All systems are built completely in-house by their engineering staff in Richmond, Virginia. Fortune Auto insists on building bespoke suspension in order to offer the best quality control in the industry.
510 Series coilovers are custom built to order. Most applications have a 2-3 week lead time. Lead times for certain applications may vary. Spring color is dependent on application and spring rate.

Gen 6 Technology Updates:
Generation 6 models benefit from an upgraded jetting assembly. In previous generations the orifice bleed holes were hand drilled. Generation 6 bleed holes are now CNC machined allowing for more consistent damping adjustments between shocks. Furthermore flow of the orifice bleed holes has increased and a re-designed jetting assembly is used, this yields a 35% increase in damping force adjustment. Providing the user with a shock that has more performance and adjustability.
No Re-Valves Necessary:
The ultra wide range of adjustment offered by the CFD piston allows for the convenience of tuning your suspension without having to revalve your dampers. A conventional shock absorber can withstand a 2kg spring rate difference before requiring a revalve, whereas the Concave Flow Digressive Technology has a broad range of 8kg spring rates. This is invaluable for tuning your suspension quickly at the track on race day.
Jekyll and Hyde:
The Concave Flow Digressive Piston allows for a Jekyll and Hyde personality. Lower spring rates can be stiffened up by using the wide damping range as an artificial spring rate, while higher spring rates feel much smoother. The large adjustment range contributes to a comfortable ride on the street and unyielding performance on the track, all with the twist of a single adjustment knob.
Revised CNC machined components:
New CNC machined adjustment knobs replace the outgoing cast molded knobs. These new machined adjustment knobs are hard anodized and more aesthetically pleasing. Updated shaft end caps are now lighter and showcase a more elegant design.
More upgrade options:
Fortune Auto has developed 2 new al la carte options that make Generation 6 systems even more customizable.
A. 7075-T6 Hard anodized aluminum damper bodies now available on motorsports series double wishbone strut applications. Provides for superior heat dissipation and extreme weight savings of up to 2lbs per shock.
B. All new LSP (locking spring perch) no longer requires a locking ring to lock the spring perch in place. This allows more height adjustment on some McPherson applications and is less likely to come loose benefitting motorsports applications that run larger and more aggressive tire compounds.
Bright Dipped Anodized:
Bright dip anodizing is a chemical polishing / anodizing process that is very effective in enhancing the integrity of the aluminum. Bright dipping created a brilliant, shiny surface which protects the 6061 forged aluminum parts from corrosion and oxidation ensuring that your parts look great for years to come.
Revised Jetting and increased adjustment range provides a larger range for more accurate damper control. Each click in the adjustment range has a very profound effect on the dampening force. Each click provides a distinct audible sound.
Radial Bearing Mounts:
The high-quality Koyo Japan radial bearing provides less bind for noise-free operation and smoother steering response.
Robust Piston Shafts:
The delicate science behind the strength of piston shafts can be difficult to perfect. Through extensive research and development, Fortune Auto has been able to achieve and optimal balance between shaft hardness and malleability to ensure safety and performance.
CFD Digressive Piston:
Digressive piston technology allows for tremendous amounts of low speed force that translates driver inputs into razor sharp control. Furthermore, the force "blows off" to provide the driver with a supple compliant ride while maintaining superior mechanical grip over rough surfaces.
Utilizing in-house engineers, Fortune Auto has been able to reinforce brackets and mounting points for more rigidity and strength. Most applications will include OEM brake line tabs welded directly to the lower mounts. This provides the end user with a cleaner and safer installation.
Dyno-Tuned and Tested:
EVERY Fortune Auto shock absorber is dyno-tested at their facility. Fortune Auto does not "spot check" their shocks like some other manufacturers. Once your shock absorbers are built, they are tested and matched, because Fortune Auto refuses to treat their shocks with a "one size fits all" mentality.
